About this course

The Treatment Coordinator (TCO) is one of the fastest-growing roles in UK dentistry. Sitting between clinician and patient, the TCO explains options, answers questions, discusses fees and finance, and makes sure nobody leaves confused or unsupported.

This foundation course covers the full TCO consultation process: preparing the patient, listening for goals and worries, presenting the clinician's treatment plan in plain language, discussing costs and finance, handling objections honestly and following up. Modules on consent, GDC standards and ethical selling ensure your approach is always patient-first.

You will finish with a 15-hour verifiable CPD certificate and a TCO toolkit of consultation checklists, follow-up templates and tracking sheets.

Great grounding for a new TCO. The follow-up templates and tracking sheets were immediately useful.

Our implant case acceptance improved noticeably after I applied the consultation structure. The finance module was clear on what we can and can't say.

Kirsty Doyle Senior Receptionist, Belfast · May 2026

I was nervous about the "sales" side of the TCO role. This course showed me how to be patient-first and ethical while still helping people say yes to treatment they need.

Clear, dental-specific and straight to the point. The certificate downloaded the moment I finished — exactly what I needed for my CPD record.
